Choc avo chia mousse

​​This chocolate chia mousse is the perfect breakfast, snack or dessert for anyone who loves chocolate! It's high in protein and calcium, packed with omega-3 fats and it's rich in antioxidants. And the good news is that it takes less than 10 minutes to prep. Enjoy!

Serves 2

Ingredients

200 ml milk

1 tablespoon cacao

1/2 avocado

1/2 cup Greek yoghurt

2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1/4 cup chia seeds

1/3 cup raspberries (to serve)

Method

Add milk, cacao, avocado, yoghurt, protein powder and maple syrup to a blender. Blend on high for 20 seconds or until smooth.

Once smooth, add the chia seeds and blend on low for a few seconds until they are dispersed evenly in the mixture.

Pour into glass jars and refrigerate overnight.

When ready to eat, add the raspberries on top and serve.

Note: This will keep fresh in your fridge for 4 days. It also freezes well.
