Mumma lunchbox - morning sickness.

This mumma lunchbox is tailored to those of you experiencing nausea. It is fairly plain yet also nutritious, combining foods that are ‘carby and comforting’ with natural fats and protein. Having a good balance of these macronutrients helps to stabilise blood sugar levels, which in turn can help manage nausea.

 

What’s in the box?

Cheese and hemp seed toastie (wholegrain sourdough, cheese and hemp seeds)

1/2 avocado (I smear this on top of my toastie after it’s cooked)

1/2 cob corn

Cashews and almonds

1/3 cup chickpeas with olive oil and salt

What this provides you and your baby:

2.5 serves vegetables

1 serve dairy/calcium-rich foods

2 serves protein

2 serves wholegrains

2.5 serves natural fats
